Berlin-based DJ Juba has launched a second series of her podcast, Assurance, which focuses on women-identifying DJs from the developing world.
The first episode of the latest series went online this week, and sees Juba talk with Cape Town-based DJ Gina Jeanz. Together, they discuss South Africa's music and nightlife scene, as well as issues such as gender-based violence in Gina Jeanz's home base. You can listen via the embed below.

“Dance is a big part of my expression as a DJ,” says Juba. “I dance behind the decks, and want people to dance very hard when they listen to me play.”
