THE RETURN OF THE ARP ODYSSEY

More breaking news from NAMM, Korg have announced the release of their version of the legendary ARP Odyssey synth.

Originally produced in 1972 by the American manufacturer ARP Instruments the Odyssey has been brought back to life in stunning technicolour glory. The new Odyssey looks amazing and keeps it true to the original in the sound department. The sound from this little beasty is simply amazing.

Ask any serious fetishist their Top 10 list of synthesisers they would love to own and all but the most awkward will list the Korg MS20 in a very high position. However, owning one of these classics is a costly endeavour, assuming one can be found at all. But now thanks largely to the rising popularity of hardware synthesisers within the production community it is possible to own a brand-new MS20 Mini, which is a faithful recreation of the Korg MS20, for a fraction of the cost of the original.

Korg are really spoiling us with the release of yet-another essential bit of studio kit. The original MS20 has been found on many a hit record and has been sought-after ever since they stopped making it. Now Korg have released the Mini MS20 in honour of this classic synth, and in time for their 50th anniversary celebrations.
