Ibiza has been added to the UK's green travel list.

Yesterday (24th), Transport Secretary Grant Shapps announced the destinations being added to the UK government's green travel list, with Ibiza and the Balearic islands among the countries to be included.

From the 30th June at 4AM, anyone entering the UK from Ibiza and the other destinations on the list will not be required to quarantine, but will still be required to take a COVID-19 test before travelling, book and pay for the day 2 COVID-19 test on arrival back in the country, and complete a passenger locator form.

Do Not Sleep has announced details of its summer closing party at Amnesia Ibiza.

Doubling as the house and techno brand's first and last party on the island in 2021, the event takes place at the White Isle club on 12th October and will feature headliners Patrick Topping, Paul Woolford, Cinthie and Gerd Janson on the Terrace.

Ibiza could be one of the new destinations added to the UK's travel green list.

The Times reports that a government source has suggested imminent travel to the White Isle - as well as the rest of the Balearics and Malta - is a "real possibility" from next week. Health Secretary Matt Hancock is expected to announce details this afternoon (24th June).

Clubs have begun reopening in Spain on a regional basis, with indoor parties starting up in cities including Barcelona, Zaragoza, Santander, and Madrid. 

The announcements follow an Interterritorial Health Council vote earlier this month outlining plans for all 17 of the country's regions — which include island territories — to roll out localised rules governing the safe return of nightlife in their area. 

Ibiza's club pilot event will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday 25th June, it has been confirmed. 

The venue's flagship party, Children of the 80s, will welcome 2000 of the island's key workers for a session aimed at testing COVID-19 protocols within nightlife and music settings ahead of clubs being allowed to return en masse. 

Nightclubs in Spain have been allowed to reopen on a regional basis following a vote by the country's Interterritorial Health Council earlier this week.

A 2000 capacity club pilot event will take place in Ibiza later this month after local government approved a proposal from the island's nightlife association. 

José Luis Benítez, manager of the Eivissa Leisure Assocation, has confirmed the test gathering will be held on either Friday 25th June or Friday 2nd July 2021, at an as-yet-unannounced outdoor space. Speaking to radio network La Cadena SER, he expressed confidence the project "will be a complete success", explaining he was "very satisfied" following a meeting with authorities. 

CircoLoco and Rockstar Games have launched a new label, CircoLoco Records. 

The release schedule opens with a series of weekly EPs comprising tracks from a forthcoming album, 'Monday Dreamin'', which arrives on 9th July.
